CIPAD is a local CBO based in Sololo, undertaking Care and Support of Orphans and Vulnerable Children at Obbitu Children’s Home.
The organization request application from suitable and qualified persons for the following positions

1. VILLAGE SUPERVISOR OBBITU CHILDRENS’ HOME

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Age- between 45years – 60 years
2. Education level - ‘O’–level and above
3. Should be a professional in childhood education or Social worker
4. Must be a local person
5. Should be a person of high moral standards
6. conversant with boorana culture
7. Must have very good interpersonal relationship with the community
8. Can work under minimal supervision

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBELITIES

The successful person will be expected to:

1. in charge of daily activities of the village
2. supervise the mother caretakers, maids, herders and security personnel
3. ensure proper use and maintenance of village resources
4. ensure children living on the village access basic requirement
5. attend to meetings relevant to the village
6. ensure children learn their identity and culture
7. maintain proper records of all tools, equipment and assets of the village
8. ensure the village is linked to the community
9. any other duties assigned by CIPAD
