RE: PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR THE REHABILITATION OF BOREHOLES, CAPACITY BUILDING AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TRAINING IN OBBU DIVISION, MOYALE DISTRICT, KENYA

The project proposal prepared by the Italian NGOs, CCM and Ce.Svi.Te.M with the Sololo based NGO Arid Lands Resource Development (ALRED) dated 24th March, 2003, and touching on the above development projects refers.

The proposal follows the guide lines set by the Moyale District Development Plan (2002 – 2003) as set out in Chapter Two. It is also in agreement with Moyale District Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP) consultation Report for the period 2001 – 2004 which identified problems and set out projects in order of priority: The Sub-District Development Committee meeting held on 30th January, 2003, approved the proposals under Minutes 2/SOL/2003.

You are therefore invited to proceed and formalize the final project document and submit to Moyale District Development Committee (DDC) for final approval.
